 Said Darwish al Balushi, workshop manager at Wattayah Motors Volkswagen, has become the first Omani Audi-certified service manager following completion of a training programme that was organised on behalf of Volkswagen and Audi recently in Dubai.
The purpose of the training was to improve the skills of service managers to the brand level.
Said, representing Wattayah Motors, was nominated for this training from a list of service managers from various Audi dealers across the Middle East.
He was the only Omani and GCC national among the attendees and achieved the highest results in fields including business planning, leadership, time management, budgeting, marketing and management.
Commenting on his achievement, Said said, “I am honoured and proud of this great achievement. I dedicate this achievement of being the first Omani Audi-certified service manager to Zubair Automotive as without its support it would not have been possible. I look forward to using the knowledge obtained for better results for the company and enhanced services to our customers.”
