The Environment Society of Oman (ESO) recently announced to its members that its Annual General Assembly (AGA) for 2010 will be held on Monday, March 15 at 7pm.
The venue will be announced later. The term of the current board of ESO expires on March 15, and during the AGA new board members will be elected by members. In order to attend the AGA, members need to renew their membership before March 1, either online at www.eso.org.om ; at the ESO office in Al Khuwayr; or by making a direct deposit, including your name, to ESO’s bank account (BankMuscat MQ branch, account 0315-00396351-003-6).
If you are interested in being nominated for the board, you need to be Omani, have been a member of the ESO for at least six months; have at least ten members supporting your nomination; and be committed to serve the ESO for two years.
